The hands of Mercedes Bouchard restores the past, the memories of a family atmosphere that we all love.
While still very young she studied in the art academy of El Paso, TX. After that she emigrated to the United States were she also worked as freelance for several prestigious studios; she also traveled to Europe and worked in Germany for an Austrian photographer for 3 years. In 1979 she came back to the U.S and continued her education in Sam Houston University in Huntsville TX, specializing in graphic arts and photo restoration. In 1980 for the first time she opened Bouchard's Photo Restoration.
She has specialized in restoring precious heirloom photographs and documents. At the present, Bouchard's serves to the public as well photographers, framers, photo labs and other restoration studios.
In the city of Houston is the studio location where this great artist. She has gains the title of one of the most prestigious restorer artist in Texas and U.S.
Since the moment that we enter to the small exhibition hall, decorated with the elements that combined with this kind of art, we can feel a sensation like the time has stopped.
